Juwita is the second of two children, but became an only child in 2022 after her older sibling passed away in an accident while in their first year of vocational school. She now lives in a boarding house with her aunt's family, whose husband works as a security guard in Jakarta. Her parents grow rice in Kadumbul, and her mother also sells vegetables when the harvest allows. The family's limited income means Juwita often falls behind on school committee fees, support she hopes to receive to ease the burden on her parents. Despite these challenges, she remains a strong student, ranking first in her class last semester. She dreams of continuing to university, fully aware that she is now her parents' only hope for the future, though the path forward still depends on her family's finances.
